Dirk could seek custody of Taylor's unborn baby

Dirk Nowitzki may try to get custody of Crista Ann Taylor's (aka Crystal Taylor and a few others) unborn child, according to a report in the Beaumont Enterprise.

Taylor is still in the Jefferson County jail, but if tests reveal Nowitzki is the father he will seek custody, according to the Newspaper citing a petition filed last week in Dallas County. Advertisement

Taylor, who lived with the Dallas Mavericks star for a year at his Preston Hollow house, was arrested there May 6 on a warrant out of Jefferson County on a theft of services charge.

While Nowitzki's name does not appear on the court documents, the petitioner is identified as "D.N.,'' a resident of Dallas County, according to a copy of the documents The Enterprise obtained.

Taylor's name also is not listed, but the initials "C.T.'' are used to identify the respondent, according to the report.

It also happens that today, June 19, is Nowitzki's 31st birthday.

Dirk is doing the right asking for paternity and custody of his unborn child. She is trying to use that child for a payday and I am happy to see that he wants to take responsibilty for his child. I would be outraged if he tried to pay her off and pretend like the wasn't his. By the way I lived in europe for four years and they don't treat or see blacks the same way american whites do, a lot of those european men love black women. So in this case I am confident the color of her skin has nothing to do with his suit.

Why should "BLACK WOMEN" be outraged for what Dirk is doing to this women, and I use that term loosely, you should be ashamed for even trying to stand up for such a low life, very immoral, individual and it doesn't matter what race she is! If she was white, asian, mexican, it doesn't matter what she has tried to do is wrong and she has made her bed now she must lie in it. What do you have to say about the other 3 children she abandoned? Oh I guess those don't matter sense she didn't have them by an NBA star! I'm sorry but your opinion is awfully stated and makes no sense!

I don't understand why black women are not outraged by Dirk's treatment of this woman, Crystal Taylor, and the treatment by law enforcement. This no class white boy was going to marry this woman and now she is carrying his child in jail. How tentative their relationship must have been. How much could he have cared about her if he wanted her to sign a prenup to get nothing for herself or their future children.

Now he wants to claim the child. What a PUNK!!!
