Oprah Winfrey will visit Dallas on Monday

News 8 at Five will have a very special guest helping with the broadcast on Monday.

Oprah Winfrey is scheduled to drop in at Channel 8's Victory Park studios.

The Queen of Talk will be in Dallas during the day on October 12 to tape some segments for her program, highlighting the happenings at the State Fair of Texas. Advertisement

She will then head to Victory Park to appear on Channel 8's 5 o'clock news broadcast.

Her appearance on the air will be simultaneously relayed on the giant HD screens surrounding the studio at the corner of Houston Street and Wichita Street, next door to the American Airlines Center downtown.
