Al B. Sure Plots Comeback

In the '80s, Al B. Sure was better known as the vanilla, unibrow brother who could melt panties off of ordinary women with his creamy voice.

 

Then, like many '80s and early '90s R&B pop sensations, he staged what was perhaps his most elaborate performance: a disappearing act. But currently, the artist best known for the 1988 hit "Nite and Day" is planning a major comeback.

 

Sure is working on a new project called Honey, I'm Home. The singer, who currently works as a morning host on Hot 92.3 in Los Angeles, claimed, "Everybody I run into, from Anthony Anderson to Michael Jackson, is asking me 'When're you going to come with the new album? I really love it and appreciate it."

 

Besides, the singer adds, "I've lost all the weight . . . It's about time now."
