McDonald's Launches “Flavor Battle” Competition

McDonalds is kicking off a new DJ competition exclusive to their African-American themed, 365 Black website. Participating in the competition are Salt & Pepa's DJ Spinderella, Grammy award winning producer and song-writer, Bryan Michael Cox and Jamie Foxx's official DJ, DJ Irie. The competition began Monday, September 7 and features the DJs spinning old school, new school and R&B mixes. Each DJ represents a different McDonalds' sandwich. Spinderella represents the Big Mac, B. Cox is the Quarter Pounder with cheese and DJ Irie is the new Angus Third-Pounder. The site currently features the trio scratching and spinning new school classics like Fabolous's “Holla Back Youngin” and Ludacris's “Stand Up” until their old school and R&B sets are available in October.
