Tameka Found Out About Divorce Online

Usher's estranged wife Tameka Foster has blasted the R&B star for failing to tell her he wanted a divorce - she found out about it on the internet.

The stylist was stunned when the Yeah! superstar filed for divorce earlier this year (09), seeking to end their two-year marriage - and is still hurt that she had to find out the news on gossip blogs, shortly after tabloid reports linked Usher with another woman.

Foster tells People magazine, "It was rumoured (on the internet), so friends and family called, saying, 'Are you OK?' I didn't really understand why. Advertisement

"But Usher and I weren't really speaking then (because of the reports of his infidelity). He was away recording, and I was angry at other things going on. He filed two days later."

Foster is also unhappy about Usher's new divorce-themed single Papers, which appears to focus on their short marriage.

She adds, "It's entertainment. People shouldn't take it literally. (But) given what we're going through, it's in poor taste."

The 38 year old's interview with People comes just days after she was forced to deny Usher's claims the pair's divorce had been finalised, dismissing them as "a publicity stunt" to promote his new material.

But she insists, despite all the bad feeling between the two, she still loves her ex: "I still love him very much and I'm sure I always will. Do I want to be with him? I don't know."

The former couple has two sons together: Usher Raymond V, 23 months, and Naviyd, 10 months.

I'm going to make some enemies with this one, but here goes. Usher's wife is much older than he and she knows the game very well (she got two kids by him in 2yrs, you do the math). Second, art often imitates life. That's why we listen to music, go to the movies, watch t.v. etc. so why is he wrong for singing about divorce. It's a real issue and I've never been divorced (or married for that matter) but I actually like the song. Is it the best time for him to release a song like that? Probably not, but I'm sure his "art" and his paycheck played into that decision, so I ain't mad. If you have a break up, we generally listen to music that relates to how you feel about it. He's doing the same ,except, he's writing and singing about it. Now if they're both grown and classy, do what you do with the children and move on.

There are two sides to every story. Let's not play the blame game.

Though he is an entertainer and has had success, he has LOADS to learn especially the ancient Ginean Proverb: "The seeds you plant is what will grow" he will learn in his time & season, as we all have our seasons. His will just not be a very good outcome if he does not succumb to these behavioral ways.Ask GOD for guidance would be a great start too!

This was extremely poor and disrespectful behavior and he has sons to look upon him as an example.

I thought it was in poor taste for him to put out a song about his divorce too. Tameka should have known Usher would cheat on her he admitted he was a sex addict and found it hard to stay faithful in magazines.
