Soliciting is the ability to lead someone into a sexual encounter by your pleasing appearance or by how you greet them. We are living in a society where substance and longevity are not commended. Many of us see something and we want it right then, without giving it a second thought. I see it, I want it. We live in a time where everything is up for sale, I am not just talking about material things but what I am speaking of is that people will put their families up for sale, their bodies up for sale, like they are trading stock.
People are leaving their spouses for someone whom they had a brief sexual encounter with. It's amazing that it doesn't matter if someone is married. I like it and I want it. People are selling their bodies to the highest bidder, with out any regards to the consequences of their actions.
The bible says,
Drink water from your own well--
Share your love only with your wife.
Why spill the water of your springs in the streets,
Having sex with just anyone?
You should reserve it for yourselves.
Never share it with strangers.
Proverbs 5:15-17
Most people would rather live a lie, than deal with the reality of the truth. Here goes the truth! The truth is that you are prostituting yourself for love. You may be handsome, you may be beautiful, but you are doing whatever you have to do, to be and to feel loved.
Your searching the clubs, parties, strip clubs, the church, the job, you name it you're looking. The truth is the love you are searching for you will never find it in others you will only find it in Jesus Christ. If love was that easy you would have found it by now.
Name Your Price
People will give of themselves for a drink from the bar at the club. People will give of themselves for the price of that dress you wore that night, isn't that why you bought it so someone, anyone would take notice of you. Will it be the married man in that corner or will it be the woman with the shortest dress on. Sex has become multiple choice, if I want oral I go to this person. If I want this kind of sex I go here. I am not here to judge you, or to criticize you but what I am trying to get you to see is that God wants to love you whether man or woman in away that you will not have to search so desperately for love. The bible says, 'Oh taste and see that the Lord is good, and His mercy endures forever.'
Lead me into Love
Will writing this article, "God wanted me to stop and tell you how much He loves you." In spite of what you have done, in spite of what you maybe doing, He wanted me to tell you that He has never stopped loving you. Through the many trials and adversity, His arms are still open wide. He cares about you! God is not a one night stand, He said, 'He would never leave you, nor forsake you. God told me tell you that He has been standing there waiting for you, at the door of the club, during the sexual encounters, during the adultery, longing to hold you and tell you just 'how much He loves you. Let's make no mistake I am talking about Jesus Christ, your money, your cars, your possessions can not buy His love. His love goes beyond all knowledge. God is love.
