According to the Associated Press, X was spotted at a Phoenix, Arizona mall on Saturday (July 19) where police seized the rapper before placing him in jail. Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio claims the rapper used the name “Troy Jones” and a fake Social Security number to dodge a $7,500 hospital bill last April.
Arpaio also revealed that the arresting investigation began shortly after X was being examined for animal cruelty last year when his 12 pit bulls were seized and three were found buried at his Phoenix home.
“He’s back in jail again. I don’t know why judges keep letting this guy out. Every time he goes in there, he gets out on bond,” Arpaio told AP. “I’m hoping this is the one time he’s going to pay the penalty for his offense.”
As of now no bond has been set for X but if he remains contained, Arpaio intends to keep him secluded from other inmates for his own protection.
At press time, X’s lawyer Cameron Morgan declined comment.
